We accept Medicare and Medicaid, along with all major insurance providers, including most PPO plans and the Healthy Michigan Plan. Not every dental office takes Medicare and Medicaid, so if you have been told elsewhere that your coverage cannot be used, it is worth asking us. We file claims for you. Call the front desk with your card in hand and we will check your specific plan before you come in.

Call us as early in the day as you can at (810) 715-3368 and we will do our best to fit you in. Toothaches, broken teeth, lost crowns and knocked-out teeth are all treated here in the office. If a tooth has been knocked out, hold it by the crown rather than the root, rinse it gently, and put it back in the socket or in a cup of milk on your way to us. If you have swelling that makes it hard to breathe or swallow, go to the nearest emergency room first.

New patients get a free consultation, and a first visit usually takes 60 to 90 minutes. We start with a conversation about what is bothering you and what you would like to change. Then Dr. Raju does a thorough exam with digital X-rays and an oral cancer screening, and a cleaning when that is appropriate. You leave with your options explained in plain language and the costs in writing. Bring a photo ID, your insurance card and a list of your medications, and arrive about ten minutes early for paperwork.

You have options, and nobody here will push you toward the most expensive one. We accept CareCredit, which lets you spread treatment over monthly payments; you can apply at carecredit.com beforehand or ask us to help you at the front desk. We also offer payment plans through Dort Financial Credit Union, and we take cash, checks and all major credit cards. Either way you will see written costs before any treatment starts.

We are at 1024 N. Genesee Rd, Burton, MI 48509, just off I-69 between Court St and Davison Rd. Parking is free and right at the door, so there is no lot to circle and no meter to feed. Our hours are Tuesday to Thursday, 9 to 5, with Monday and Friday by appointment, and we are closed for Thanksgiving and Christmas.

We do, and you are in good company. Dr. Raju is trained in conscious sedation through DOCS and offers nitrous oxide for taking the edge off, or oral conscious sedation for longer or more involved appointments. With oral sedation you will need someone to drive you home. Tell us when you book that you are nervous and we will plan the visit around that, sedation or not.

Yes. We are a family practice and Dr. Raju sees patients of every age, so one trip can cover the whole family. Children's visits are kept short, gentle and free of surprises, with sealants and fluoride to protect new molars, and plenty of patience for a child who arrives frightened. Parents are welcome to stay in the room the whole time.
