Online or by phone. Tell us if anything's bothering you so we can plan enough time.
2. Forms & insurance
Complete your forms at home or arrive 10 minutes early. Bring your insurance card and a list of medications.
3. Your first visit
A conversation about your goals, a thorough exam, digital X-rays if needed, an oral-cancer screening and. When appropriate, a cleaning.
4. A clear plan
Dr. Raju explains what she found in plain language and gives you honest options and written costs. No pressure.

Care that fits your budget
Tender Dental Care is designed to meet the needs of all of our patients in a way that fits your budget. We accept Medicare and Medicaid, most major insurance plans and the Healthy Michigan Plan. Not every dental office takes Medicare and Medicaid, so if you have been told elsewhere that your coverage cannot be used, it is worth asking us. To check your specific plan, call our financial coordinator at (810) 715-3368. We're happy to file insurance claims to help you maximize your benefits and to answer any insurance questions.
We also accept cash, checks and all major credit cards. For those without insurance, or with larger treatment plans. We offer flexible payment plans through CareCredit or Dort Financial Credit Union.
Medicare & Medicaid accepted
Many dental offices will not take them. We do, and we file the claims for you.
Most PPO dental plans
We file claims for you and explain your coverage before treatment.
Healthy Michigan Plan
Accepted for eligible patients. Ask us.

We accept Medicare, Medicaid and the Healthy Michigan Plan, along with all major insurance providers and most PPO dental plans, and we file your claims for you. Many dental offices will not take Medicare or Medicaid, so if you have been turned away elsewhere, it is worth calling us. For anything a plan does not cover, we accept CareCredit and offer payment plans through Dort Financial Credit Union, plus cash, checks and all major cards.

Dr. Raju completes root canals, dental implants, oral surgery and wisdom-teeth extractions right in our Burton office, so your care stays in one place and your total treatment time is shorter. If a rare case truly needs a specialist, we coordinate the referral and manage your overall plan.
Yes. Dr. Raju provides wrinkle relaxers, dermal fillers, lip enhancement and PDO thread lifts, with the injection skill and facial-anatomy knowledge of a dentist. Ask at your visit or request a consultation.
